Account Representative (1st shift, salaried, non-supervisory position)
In this role you would be servicing stores in the territory by communicating promotions, selling product, writing purchase orders, building displays, stocking shelves and coolers, consolidating back rooms, properly rotating product, removing out-of-date product, following brand order, utilizing P.O.S., ensuring product accessibility, and maintaining safety standards (clean as you go). Account Representatives are also responsible for the following:
Communicating with drivers, account representatives, merchandisers, supervisors and store personnel on important deliveries / displays and resets.
Looking for incremental opportunities for displays and/or improve display locations.
Execution of Service - Exceed executional standards, satisfy customer needs/wants, continuity (same face/same store), rapport, and quality reputation.
Promoting and participating in Innovation for the purpose of providing suggestions and ideas throughout the organization to create something new, different, or better.
Attending monthly safety meetings.
Following all safety policies and procedures in compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulatory agencies.
Job requirements are:
1 to 3 years of experience in sales management, inventory management, customer service and merchandising.
A minimum of an associate's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field. This requirement can be waived in lieu of adequate on the job experience.
Successfully passing a pre-employment physical/drug and alcohol screen.
Successfully passing a criminal background check.
Valid NYS Driver's License (less than 3pts).
Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a continuous basis.
Must be able to travel frequently from one customer location to another in the Tonawanda area.
