Overview
Drivers transport petroleum products via tanker for dedicated customers. Load/unload tanker using hoses and gravity/pump. Drivers average 1-3 loads per shift. Schedule is a 5-6 day workweek. Must be able to work any day including holidays and weekends. Must be able to work either day or night shift. Average 55-65 hours per week. Time and a half paid after 45 hours. Paid training. Equipment is late model with tractors being 5 years old or newer, all have on board PeopleNet.
Compensation
$17.53 per hour training rate
Progressive increases throughout 1st year until reach $19.03
$1,279 per week first year average

CDL-A
1 year tractor-trailer experience
"H"-Hazmat endorsement

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
