We are growing and looking to add to the team! This role presents the opportunity for an entry-level candidate to grow and develop with the company in their HR career.
The HR & Payroll Coordinator of the HR team who will play a significant day to day role in the administration of the HR function for the entire team.
The HR & Payroll Coordinator will hold accountability for essential HR functions including the following:
General support tasks that enable the smooth and timely delivery of HR functions to the organization:
Processing Payroll Ensuring the accuracy of time entries and time worked records and processing payroll within deadlines Coordinating with accounting in the generation of reporting and recordkeeping Leave Administration Benefit Administration Internal record maintenance, including HRIS, Benefit Portals, and Payroll Coordinating the Recruiting & Selection process including collaborating with hiring managers, posting ads, phone screens, and creating offer packets.
Managing timelines, submissions, and data with regard to industry work incentive programs Onboarding Coordinating onboarding processes with all participants Meeting with newly hired team members to review new hire information, ensure the thorough and accurate completion of the process, including benefits Coordinating the annual Performance Management process, ensuring timelines are met and full participation Participating in the coordination of team events Researching and implementing best practices related to process and HR initiatives Keeping current on HR compliance on the Federal, State, Local, and Industry levels Qualifications Desired:
2-year degree in business or human resources related study or relevant experience in HR Experience with payroll processing and an understanding of payroll processes and regulations preferred, experience with prevailing wage a plus At least one to two years in the HR field Attention to detail and accuracy Professional and team-oriented work style Proficient adaptable communication skills Above average skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Fluency in virtual collaboration software such as MS Teams and Zoom Compensation Montante offers a competitive total compensation package including:
Base Pay:
$50,000 - $60,000 annually Annual performance and salary review, with bonus A comprehensive benefit package including medical insurance with employer contribution towards premium, vision, dental, employer paid life insurance, and employer paid long term disability.
